--> 03:55.620 And that's something I did want to bring up, that if you're if you're working with a vendor, uh, 03:55.660 --> 04:03.910 say, if you're have a bunch of wireless networks out there and there and you're using ruckus, or you're 04:03.910 --> 04:10.150 using, uh, um, Aruba or any of the other big vendors out there. 04:10.390 --> 04:14.550 You may be able to talk to the vendor, and if they have a certification, you may be able to get that 04:14.550 --> 04:16.150 certification test for free. 04:17.550 --> 04:25.750 And, uh, other places will have certain certification things out there that you can do for free. 04:26.430 --> 04:28.310 You just kind of want to go out there and look. 04:28.310 --> 04:33.390 But you do want to make the distinction of is it a certification or is just leave the video running, for example, and eventually it will spit out a certificate of 06:30.590 --> 06:36.430 completion in some cases, whereas a certification, a lot of times you will have to 07:02.810 Now, one thing I do want to point out and this really gets me upset when I see this. 07:04.050 --> 07:12.570 There are places out there that will advertise certification, and I seen it on Udemy too, where a 07:12.570 --> 07:20.930 couple a couple courses say are certified, you know, hacker certified or whatever, and you get through 07:20.930 --> 07:26.090 it and you don't get a certification, you get a certificate of completion. 07:26.130 --> 07:27.490 Again, very different. 07:27.810 --> 07:36.890 So in this example and this was very recent, um, this particular site said they offer online certification 07:36.890 --> 07:44.210 programs, become an expert in top technologies and are extensive online certification programs. 07:44.490 --> 07:47.530 So they mentioned certification a couple times. 07:47.890 --> 07:48.810 And you look through there. 07:48.810 --> 07:59.290 There's business analytics certification, Python programming certification ethical hacking certification. 07:59.290 --> 08:04.470 And when you actually go there to buy it, you know, again, ethical hacking certification. 08:04.510 --> 08:10.470 Become an ethical hacker and prove your network skills with exceptional training. 08:10.750 --> 08:17.430 And you know, you can see it's deeply discounted from $139 to $54. 08:18.110 --> 08:22.190 And you can see if this certification if you want insignificant amount. 10:50.460 --> 10:55.700 However, in terms of certification, that could be really cheap, especially when you're talking things 10:55.740 --> 11:06.720 about AC Council that, uh, The ethical hacking certification was around $3 $3,000 for the course and 11:06.720 --> 11:08.800 the certification test. 11:10.480 --> 11:18.000 Sands will generally run you between one to, I would say, $3,000 or so for a certification. 11:18.560 --> 11:23.000 So again, for 50, reasonably inexpensive from the grand scope of things. 11:24.440 --> 11:26.520 It has a practical certification. 11:27.120 --> 11:34.320 There were some new articles and in a positive light about it, and at least when I was looking for 11:34.320 --> 11:38.840 it and some reviewers had were pretty positive on it. confusing goals that they actually had to go back and keep tweaking 11:51.920 --> 12:00.500 the the certification as I started bringing up these issues, and it could take weeks to get a single through their you know that's a certified white hat associate, uh, basically 12:48.580 --> 12:51.380 a white hat hacking, uh, certification. 12:51.380 --> 12:53.540 And that one was okay. 12:53.700 --> 12:54.900 It was all right. 12:55.580 --> 12:58.180 Um, it wasn't great. 12:58.540 --> 13:09.680 I would say, but I took it because when I used to be in the null byte forums, um, this one was kind 13:09.720 --> 13:17.280 of in the works, and there wasn't really a your options were pretty much the same, which again was 13:17.280 --> 13:22.920 $3,000 and you have to go and recertify every few using a VM. 13:43.320 --> 13:49.720 And I find that incredibly dangerous to an open source intelligence, especially seeing how the person 13:49.720 --> 13:54.400 that runs this is supposedly worked 14:26.940 --> 14:31.260 Basically, you're doxing someone that, uh, they weren't doing anything wrong. 14:31.260 --> 14:37.220 This person was actually going exposing, uh, scammers, which I'm I'm all or they're thinking about taking a certification and then they check 22:00.880 --> 22:10.520 something like Reddit, or they check, uh, X or some forum or whatnot, and people are talking all 22:10.520 --> 22:12.440 sorts of junk about it. 22:12.440 --> 22:14.160 Your certifications worthless. 22:14.160 --> 22:17.880 Anyone with half a brain could, could, could have passed that. 22:18.680 --> 22:21.600 Uh, you don't need to study for that certification. 22:21.600 --> 22:23.520 Um, that's completely worthless. 22:23.520 --> 22:25.880 That's, you know, you wasted your time. 22:25.880 -->
