The IDE (Integrated Development Environment) used in this course in the lectures will be Jetbrains Rider.

This is not a requirement!

You can use any compatible IDE that works with Unreal Engine.

However, if you would like to give Jetbrains Rider a try, Jetbrains has now made Rider free for non-commercial use!
